Selene can also create lifelike humanoid constructs for combat, animate inanimate objects to a limited degree, and warp the molecules of inorganic substances to her whim.

In New Mutants, it was revealed via Empath that Selene created Nova Roma by kidnapping hundreds of people and brainwashing them into believing they were descendants of ancient Romans in the Amazon jungle. Magma revealed that Nova Roma was a mental city that Selene created. She destroyed it when she realized that her plans were being exposed.

Selene has also made it a point to hunt and kill Rachel Summers, the former leader of the X-Men. Selene’s attempts to do this have attracted the ire and anger of the Hellfire Club. This has led to many battles between the X-Men, Lords Cardinal, and the Hellfire Club.
